Albaola Itsas Kultur Faktoria in Pasaia, Gipuzkoa, Spain, is a shipyard-museum dedicated to the construction and restoration of historical wooden vessels using traditional craftsmanship techniques. Founded in 1998 by Xabier Agote, Albaola promotes Basque maritime culture. A significant project is the reconstruction of the 16th-century Basque whaling galleon San Juan. Albaola also offers training programs to pass on traditional shipbuilding skills to future generations. The institution has a significant economic and cultural impact on the region and was awarded for its sustainability in 2024.
